Please do not be alarmed by any of the technical terms or conditions. We are legally required to outline all terms for your information and it also helps in answering the question “where does it say in your terms”.

If and whenever you have a problem or need our assistance, what we actually wish to do is, bend over backwards to help you and go that extra mile. All we request from you is a calm and fair approach.

Majority of our customers are extremely honest and genuinely fair but there is a tiny minority who are not. With this in mind we have to outline a policy which covers every aspect of sales and site.

Refund Policy

We are offering a generous 7 days prepaid returns policy for unopened items which no other automotive site has offered before. If you don’t like the product we will try our best to make it easy for you to return at no cost to you for refund and help you as much as we can to keep you happy. Free 7 days return Excludes Spray Paints, Polishes, Jump Starters, Battery Chargers, Additives, Any Liquid & Seasonal Items.

If you change your mind or item is no longer required and is still in the New Received Condition and in Unopened Original Packaging, we will happily accept the return within 60 days of receipt of the goods. Simply proceed via returns center to acquire a returns reference and postage details. Please Note buyer will be responsible for the return postage cost.

If we don’t make a sale, we try to make a customer as even if they don’t come back, they recommend us.

If you find that you do not like to the product, its defective or damaged, simply contact us and our team will be more than happy to help and resolve amicably.

While customer satisfaction is one of the main aspects of our business, our commitment extends beyond customer satisfaction we want you to always be 100% satisfied by the quality and efficiency of our service and products. We will also strive to do everything right the first time and do our best to continuously improve.  

What Items Are Returnable?

  • In original condition and must not be devalued.
  • Unmarked, unused and undamaged items.
  • In the original undamaged packaging and well packed to avoid transit damage.

What Items Are Non-Refundable?

  • Free gifts or promotional items.
  • Special orders and software products.
  • Items which were sold as not eligible for return.
  • Used items and used returned damaged due to misuse, without packaging or in unsellable condition may be refused refund or will be subject to deduction of up to 50% plus sellers return charge.
  • Express postage, courier surcharge for Islands, highlands and international postage costs are non-refundable.
  • International orders cannot be offered 60 days return for refund where standard online terms do not require sellers to offer a refund policy. 

Are There Any Charges For Return?

  • Regardless of the reasons, we offer free return for unopened items to UK buyers if you wish to return within 7 days (see exceptions below). 
  • In case of oversize, expensive or heavy items (over 10 to 15kg), i.e... Subwoofer boxes, caravan covers, carriers, bars and leisure products etc..We may not be able to offer full return postage but will agree to refund average mainland postage cost of up to £7 approx. You may need to foot the bill of extra charge especially if you are in Highland and Islands but at least we are paying some of it which no other site or seller has offered before us. When buying large and heavy items please make sure you are buying a correct item and size. Any additional payment will be paid be paid in PayPal.
  • There are no charges for return if you wish to return within 60 days of receipt at your cost. Please Note buyer will be responsible for the return postage cost.
  • If you have paid express postage for delivery, we may offer you refund of express postage (full refund of paid amount) if you return at your cost. Please Note buyer will be responsible for the return postage cost.
How Do I Return?
  • Simply send us an email at info@acc4u.uk to get a Return Authorization Number or Log In to My Account to initiate a ReturnIn some cases we may request you to provide condition of return or an image. For your convenience we will include a returns form in the pack.

How Soon Will I Get My Refund?

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied original method of payment, within 3-5 business days.

Items must be returned with all original components unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any items that arrive back with parts missing will be resent to the customer at the customer's expense or before refunding we will deduct payment to replace missing parts. If the item can no longer be sold as new, we may deduct up to 50% before refunding.

All items we sell are new. Still where possible, we may remove models and some products from packaging to examine before dispatch. If you wish to have them checked then please advise immediately after purchase. However please note, upon receiving the item if you are not happy with built, finish or quality, you can still return for refund as per our refund policy.

Arrived Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Item Received

We do our best to check and package securely. Still sometimes in transit the items can get damaged, develop a fault at later stage or wrong item sent by mistake. For this we apologize sincerely in advance.

In case of any of the above please contact us immediately or click on return center and follow the instructions to request a return or replacement.

To resolve amicably we request your patience and calm approach in such unpleasant situations. We try and resolve the matters with minimum inconvenience to our customers but aggressive communication can often make the situations worst and makes it difficult or sometimes impossible for us to help and go that extra mile.

If the courier asks you to sign for the goods then please check the parcels condition. If the item or packaging looks slightly damaged or opened, you must make a note of this with the courier when signing. If they parcel is badly damaged then please sign as damaged and refuse to accept.

In the case where an item has arrived damaged we request that you provide a photograph showing the damage so we can notify the carrier too.

We believe our customers to be honest therefore we do not question a genuine return and will offer full refund with prepaid return or returns postage.  Unfortunately there is a very small number which sadly believes in abusing the system and our trust. We reserve a right to refuse full or partial refund and may refuse returns postage or deduct postage cost (in case of prepaid return) if any evidence of misuse or self inflicted damage is found.

Failed & Lost Deliveries

If a parcel is returned undelivered due to the wrong/incomplete address provided or customer not available to accept or collect the delivery, the customer may be held responsible for the full cost of returning the parcel to us.

In case of oversize, heavy or expensive item courier delivery, failed delivery return cost will from £4 up to £15 depending on parcel and delivery. This amount will have to be received by us as well as the cost of re-sending your item before your parcel is re-dispatched.

Please note if your postman did not leave a card then you will be able to file a claim with royal mail to recover the resend cost.

Under Royal Mail’s and courier terms, items can only be considered missing after 14 working days have passed. In case of courier delivery, this period will be 7 to 14 working days. In the event of a lost item a replacement will be sent as soon as the loss has been verified by the shipping company.

In case of lost delivery or disputed deliveries we may write to your immediate neighbors to trace and find the parcel.

In case of disputed delivery, we will require you to sign a declaration that you have not received the item, have checked with households, in your property and with neighbors.

Warranty

Most products come with a warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year. But we are offering two years manufacturing defect warranty on most items you buy from us (Excludes Bulbs, Aerosol Sprays, Additives, Treatments, Adhesive & Paint Products, Diecast Model Cars And Products With Built-In Batteries).

This does not cover the product where fault is due to misuse, abuse, use in contravention of the instructions, or where the product has been subject of unauthorized modifications or alterations or has been the subject of commercial use (unless it has been sold for commercial use).

In the event of a problem with the product within the warranty period please contact us. If you've had the product for up to 2 year, we'll repair the product or, if that's not possible, give you a replacement of the same spec, same value or a similar model, or if that's not possible, a partial credit/refund can be offered.

After 1st year, buyer will need to pay postage for both ways, for the return and to send a replacement.

Please note, after 6 months of sales, onus to prove a manufacturing defect is on the buyer so seller has a right to ask for a technical report from an approved test center at buyer’s costs. We will be as helpful as we can and resolve without any inconvenience to you but we may exercise our right if we suspect any misuse of our item or trust. We may ask for the report or ask that you post to us at your expense, pay replacement postage or simply provide a free return or replacement without question.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

We also import some unique quality lines which are not available to the UK market.

As an established organized business we will treat your purchase professionally and promptly. All UK customers will be sent a VAT invoice.

Postage

If listing states "FREE UK delivery" applies to Zone A, UK mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland (Central belt of Scotland) and excludes surcharge post codes and areas.

Please choose correct shipping zone for your area at the checkout. 

We will use MyHermes and Royal Mail for up to 2kg max and myHermes, DPD and APC Overnight or similar service for up to 10kg to 15kg items.

Buyers from Zone B, Northern Ireland, offshore Islands and Scottish highlands, due to additional charges imposed by couriers a surcharge by the couriers may be levied to cover carriage to these areas.

  • For BFPO codes and Channel Islands please email first for quote. Couriers will deliver at these locations as international so these international order terms and conditions will apply.

    We will also like to emphasis that although these areas are indeed part of UK but due to high cost of shipping, distance transportation and local third party carriers, couriers charge surcharge which we have no control over. More details can be found by contacting any UK courier companies or on their websites help section. This also applies to international destinations and remote locations.

    Premium delivery option to offshore, highlands and remote postcodes may take longer than the usual one working day.

    The surcharge may not apply to small items being sent via Royal mail or MyHermes etc... Where possible we will try our best to avoid courier service for surcharge areas.

    If you have already made a purchase without reading the instructions/terms of sale and wish to cancel the order please let us know. Since we fully understand the situation and do agree that it might not be feasible in some cases, a full refund on request will be issued right away.

    Shipping

    To protect our buyer’s account we will only dispatch goods to Billing approved addresses. Please do not email requesting us delivery to different address.

    Most items purchased on the day will be dispatched the same or following day in chosen delivery service. We endeavor to dispatch all UK orders within 1 working day and international orders within 2 to 3 working days of receiving your cleared funds, but during busy days and times this may be extended. In event of a very unlikely slight delay, your patience would be much appreciated.

    For Christmas deliveries Royal Mail and Hermes etc.. Cut-off date is usually 18th December max. We will continue to dispatch items after this point but they may not arrive until after Christmas day. As you will appreciate that orders dispatched during Christmas and New Year holidays may not arrive within estimated delivery period.

    Orders are sent via approved couriers and Royal Mail. Parcels sent with the couriers will only be collected and delivered Monday to Friday excluding holiday periods, Hermes and some couriers may deliver on Saturday too. If you wish to have or avoid a delivery via a specific courier/delivery service then please email us before the purchase for a confirmation and quote.

    Few items will require a signature upon delivery therefore they cannot be left unattended in safe place or area. Due to hazardous nature of aerosols and some liquids etc.. we will not be able to send them via Royal Mail.

    Please add your phone number in order so you can be contacted by us or the courier in case of any delivery issue etc. Couriers like interlink express/DPD now send tracking updates and delivery window information via emails and texts. Your number will only be shared with the courier for your order delivery purpose only.

    As you will appreciate, sellers cannot be held responsible for delivery times however we can assure a timely dispatch within the mentioned time frame. If for some reason, delivery is held up or delayed in transit, then you have a right to refuse to accept it and in this case you will not be held responsible for return cost and full refund will be issued upon receipt. In case of delay in transit by the carrier, paid Express postage will be refunded but where express postage was offered Free, we will not be able to refund.

    Once marked as dispatch, if your courier order is not received within 3 to 5 working days in UK and 10 to 14 working days in EU then please contact us immediately so we can chase this up for you.

    Unfortunately we are restricted by our carriers from sending certain liquids and all (aerosol) pressurized containers especially outside mainland UK. We try to ensure that our listings are accurate and will not give anyone off shore an option to purchase these items, but due to the sheer volume of listings and no option to allow blocking certain postcodes for few listings, this is not always possible. Please be aware that if you purchase a liquid or pressurized item and are unable to dispatch, we will contact you to advise you as soon as possible.

    We will try our best to update tracking is every order. If via interlink express/DPD etc.. You will receive a tracking email directly from the courier. Due to the time factor it is not possible for us to update every purchase with the tracking number but if you have not received any tracking information then kindly email and we will provide the tracking number and details of delivery service.

    Listing Images, Wheel Trims, Seat Covers, Power Packs Etc.

    We try to take and use our own images but please be aware, most images are for illustration purpose only. Sometimes manufacturers change and upgrade item’s spec and packaging without any prior notification but be rest assure you will be sent the same version, model and part number.

    Many of the photographs used are library images or our own but we will not be in a position to guarantee any color variances, style or packaging upgrades. We try our best to accurately describe and show the product but shade and color may still vary due to flash and suchlike therefore all images on the website are for illustration purpose only.

    Wheel Trims: Most common cause of trims cracking, splitting and lugs damaging is due to incorrect fitting or attempting to fit a wrong size. With this in mind, every single wheel trim is closely examined and checked for any sign of damage and then packed very well along with a packing slip showing each trim checked and signed by the packer. Most trims have 4 or 5 imitation nuts depending on the size of set.

    We cannot replace wheel trims that have been damaged by the customer during fitting, neither can we replace any that are lost whilst driving. It is buyer’s responsibility to ensure fitment is correct before driving your vehicle.

    Still if you receive a damaged wheel trim within a set of 4 trims. You will be required to provide evidence of the damage by attaching an image showing top, back and side view of the trim via email. In order to offer a resolution, we may require the damage trim to be returned for it to be examined. We cannot pay for a return of the entire set if transit or manufacturing defect is not proven.

    Power Packs, Chargers Etc: Upon dispatch some items will be removed from packaging to be tested. If you do not wish to have your item opened then please advise before dispatch. Never use extensions in inverters, power packs and reducers. We do not sell reconditioned but only brand new units.

    Car Audio, Electrical & Electronics Issues: We only sell reputable brands and products as all audio, electronics and electrical products are tested at assembly line before packaging. In case of a reported defect after use or upon fitting, we will require the item to be returned first before we can offer a resolution or returns postage. You must make sure the item is being fitted or used as per manufacturer’s guidelines. Electrical and audio products must be fitted by a professional and we will require a proof of valid receipt to show that it was not a DIY job or a mate who fitted it. PLEASE avoid mate fittings at all cost.

    Seat Covers: Seat covers do not come with any suitability or compatibility guide. They will only be suitable for standard size and shape seats (as shown in images). Before dispatch, seat covers may be checked to make sure all contents are included. In case of careless and tight fitting the seat covers will rip or damage therefore it is customer responsibility to take care in trying or fitting. In case of ripped covers, we will not be able to pay return postage and have a right to reject such returns. Please try the covers and cushions with great care and if unsuitable then please pack well before returning. Steering and seat covers do not come with instructions to fit therefore please check your vehicle first to understand how you seats lift and fold.

    Non-Compatible, Road Use Or Off Road Use

    In case of buying vehicle show purpose items i.e. lights, led’s, performance products, etc.. Please check with your local law enforcing authorities for suitability of off road use.

    Many of the photographs used are library images therefore we will not be in a position to guarantee any slight color variances style or packaging upgrades.

    We guarantee to send you the part number, specification as advertised in the product description. Term “Universal” or any listed accessory will mean, suitable for standard models, shapes, size or fitment only (not all), unless specified.

    Please note, cutting or opening up the items, tampering. I.e. cutting plugs off, re-sizing etc... Will void the warranty and with regret such returns cannot be accepted.

    We warrant and represent that the goods are as described in the listing. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchant ability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Customers should satisfy themselves that any item choice made is suitable for their intended purpose or use.

    Liability

    To the fullest extent of the law we disclaim any express or implied warranties with regard to fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for satisfying yourself that the product is suitable for the purpose you intend to use it for.

    We will not be liable for damage/injury caused as a result of the use of any product we sell. We cannot confirm suitability, compatibility or fit for your use and purpose.

    We may occasionally state suitability/compatibility as per your information and manufacturers description but will strongly advise that you seek professional opinion before buying or using.

    It is the customer's responsibility to satisfy them that the item is safe and suitable for the intended use before using it.

    Always put safety first and make sure the item is being fit or used in secured conditions and environment. For vehicle uplifting products etc... Make sure correct axle stands and safety aids are being used.                   

    We will not be liable for labour charges incurred during the fitment or removal of any faulty or incorrectly supplied products. We strongly recommend that customers DO NOT book their vehicle in for work until parts have arrived and are verified as correct and in working order by themselves or a professional.

    All items are sold subject to the guidelines & instructions given in the user manual for the product. If you are unclear about instructions then please do not fit or use the product and seek advice.

    It is your responsibility to ensure the product is correct in working order and safely fitted before use or commencing your journey. You must also check the product regularly to maintain and during use to ensure it remains safely fitted at all times.

    For all vehicle covers, never apply to a wet vehicle or a vehicle that has been recently treated with polish or other cleaning chemicals. Remove the cover at least once weekly.

    For 12V/24V electrical items you must always fit a suitable fuse. Never use the product without a suitable fuse. Always seek professional assistance. In case of item failing to work or developing a fault, we shall not be held responsible for any related costs; only a refund or replacement will be offered as per warranty and per terms.

    For all electrical items always ensure a suitable fuse or circuit breaker is in place before using the product. Never use the product without a suitable fuse or circuit breaker. Always observe ratings of appliances being used.

    We will take reasonable precautions to keep details of your order & payment secure; however, we will not be liable for any unauthorized access to the information supplied by you. We keep only basic contact and order details on file to use for delivery and our contact purpose only. If paying over the phone, no credit card details are kept on file.

    Why Detailed Terms And Conditions?

    When we started selling online, we only had few lines of terms and conditions. Over the years whenever an issue was raised, the first question that was always asked, where does it state in your terms and conditions? This is why our terms are detailed. We agree are many customers are very understanding and fair but a very small minority is always looking for blame and claim therefore to avoid this we have to provide as much information we can. We have tried our best to highlight and address all issues but in in case where you are not clear, have doubts and believe our policies are not in line with online selling regulations, please contact us to clarify.

    If you do not agree with any of our outlined terms and conditions please do not buy from us. By buying and completing the sale you agree to all the terms and conditions.

    International Buyers MUST READ

    International orders will be dispatched within two working days of receiving clear funds. Average delivery time within most EU countries is 6 to 10 working days but may vary in some EU and other countries due to border control and customs.

    Buyers will be liable to pay taxes and duties at their end.

    In some cases deliveries can take a lot longer than expected. We have come across some cases where despite timely dispatch; orders were delivered after 45 days. Order will only be considered lost if not delivered within 60 days. We will not be able to refund or send a replacement till confirmed lost by the carrier. We will require you to sign a declaration of non receipt.

    We can only accept PayPal payment from international buyers. VAT may be charged so in case of entitlement to exemption, we must be contacted before dispatch so appropriate paper work can be carried out. After dispatch we may not be able to deduct or refund VAT.

    Buyers are responsible for any of customs charge and taxes etc... In order to avoid taxes etc.. Please do not advise us to mark goods as sample, low value or a gift.

    We will add tracking information in most transaction and please note a signature is required for delivery so please ensure someone is at home to receive your order. If delivery fails, the parcel will be returned to us. Please make sure you pick the parcel up within that time from your local courier depot or collection point. Sometimes delivery services may not leave a card or you may fail to notice it at your address therefore we will suggest keeping an eye on the tracking.

    A further carriage charge will be applied if the parcel is returned to us as a result of not picking the parcel up and in case of failed delivery. Initial paid delivery cost will also be non-refundable. In case of faulty international returns, the maximum return postage we will pay is £10 and we will require the return postage receipt to be emailed to us.

    Unfortunately we are restricted by our carriers from sending any hazardous products, liquids or (aerosol) pressurized containers outside mainland UK. Please be aware that if you purchase a liquid or pressurized item and are unable to dispatch, we will contact you to advise you as soon as possible.

    Price Match

    If you find a cheaper price we'll try our best to match or beat it.

    Simply email us the link to info@acc4u.uk of the seller and site selling the item and we will get back to you to confirm if we are able to match or beat (Conditions Apply).

    Terms & Conditions Of Price Match:

    • The competitor's item/listing must be of the same item/items, brand, quantity and part number.
    • The competitor's item must be in stock at the time of match and must include delivery.
    • The competitor’s price must be publicly advertised online and cannot include any membership/personal discounts.
    • We will not be able to match bulk promotional offers such as buy one get one free, clearance or closing down sales, black Friday deals, special orders, Items on auction sites, Number Plates etc…but will try if we can.
    • The competitor must be a registered business based in the UK selling direct to customers.
    • No other offers or vouchers can be used on top of a price match.
    • In some extreme cases we may offer a match but subject to collection in store.

    Don’t like or not as expected? No problem, we are offering a generous 7 days prepaid returns policy for unopened items. We will try our best to make it easy for you to return at no cost to you for refund and help you as much as we can to keep you happy :-)

    Buy with confidence that you can return at no cost to you. This will apply to majority of the orders which can be shipped and returned within UK via myHermes or any similar service we use.     For Offshore Islands, Highlands and oversize items (over 10kg or longer than 1m in lengths) see below.

You may need to pay some of returns postage but at least we are sharing the cost with you which no other site or seller has offered to do till now. Please make sure you are buying a correct and right size item.
    • Due to international delivery status by major couriers, Channel Islands and BFPO locations are excluded from free UK return offer however returns will be accepted as per 60 days refund policy.
    • We may not be able to offer free return if price was matched.
    • Excludes Spray Paints, Polishes, Seasonal Items.

    Since express postage is non-refundable, we will suggest buying with standard delivery so you lose nothing in case of return for refund.

    In Stock & Fast Dispatch

    We only list the items that are in stock. After receiving clear funds, we usually dispatch UK orders within one working day and international orders within 2 to 3 working days.

    Worldwide Shipping

    We offer worldwide shipping including Europe, USA, Asia and Australia. Postage will be displayed in the listing, if postage has not been added or visible, please email us for a quote.

    Collect In Store

    You are welcome to collect from our store in Paisley. Before buying, please give us a call at Web Enquiries 0141 387 7041, Store Enquiries 0141 237 7373 or email us at info@acc4u.uk so we can make sure the item is in stock or have it sent to us by the warehouse if out of stock or sold out in store.

    To proceed with store collection, please choose Pick up option as Delivery method at the checkout and proceed with the payment.

    After the order is placed, it is usually ready for collection within 24 hours. A confirmation email will be sent once the order is ready for collection. 

    When you come to pick up your order, please bring the email we sent you saying it is ready for collection - as a print out or on your phone with some valid photo ID with your address and the bank card used to pay for the item.
